The Waihī Beach Op Shop Ball is back, and it's going to be a night to remember!
After years of locals and visitors alike asking us 'when is the Op Shop Ball coming back?!' We finally have an answer for you. Save the date, block out the babysitter and raid the local op shops.

This year's theme is Studio 64 🪩
Think 70s funk, sequins and satin. Think the legendary energy of Studio 54 brought to life right here in Waihī Beach (do you get it? ours is a clever play on words with +64 being the international calling code for NZ). The dance floor will be electric. The outfits will be outrageous. And the night will be impossible to forget.
The dress code: Hit the local op shop, dress the era, and come ready to commit. Whether you go full second-hand or simply bring the glamour, get creative. The creativity on display never, ever disappoints.
The night 🎶
Doors open at 7pm with live music from local funk favourites Disco Bush, followed by DJ Dave spinning back-to-back bangers all the way through to midnight. Food is included in your ticket, with drinks available at the bar.
This is a big one, people. It's a proper night out in the middle of winter, and something to really, really look forward to in the colder months. Come with friends, family, neighbours, work mates (bosses - book the whole team in for some extra kudos and thank us later). Let's get the whole community together this July!

VIP Table: $1,000* for a table of 8: champagne, table service, and the best seats in the room.
